The 7 Printmakers will show original fine art prints, including woodcuts, linoleum cuts, lithographs, collagraphs and monotypes – all hand-pulled by the artists. The 7 Printmakers – Raymond Brownfield, Jacqueline Dotson, Igor Koutsenko, Kathleen McCord, Sfona Pelah, Julianne Ricksecker and Angelika Villagrana – are a group of artists who began exhibiting together in the early 1990’s with the intention of showing a variety of styles and media of original printmaking. Part of their goal is to educate the public about the processes used to create original works of art that are printed on paper, whether as multiples (etchings, drypoints, collagraphs, lithographs, woodcuts, linoleum block prints) or as unique works (monotypes). They also show the different tools needed to create original prints.
