A judged show of 25-30 members featuring the best art glass in Southern California from artists at all levels and mediums. The AGASC will have its 44th annual exhibition with 25-30 members coming from all levels (novice to professional) and all mediums (blown, kiln formed, stained, mosaic, cold worked, etched, and torch worked. There will be seven categories (sculpture; vessels, plates, platters, and small bowls; wall art; wearable art; mixed media; and novice), where all mediums will compete against each other in each category. There will be three sponsored categories where the participants must use the sponsors’ glass. Three judges will pick the first, second, and third place awards in all categories. There is a Best of Show which the judges will pick, and a People’s Choice award which is picked by the public. A reception will be held which will include hors d’oeuvres and non-alcoholic drinks to be served and a raffle of donated art glass from the prior year’s winners.
