Join us at the San Diego Model Railroad Museum for a day of Thomas-themed fun for the whole family!

Enjoy hands-on crafts and activities and take part in a Museum-wide scavenger hunt

Special attractions include two Thomas-inspired model railroad displays. Experience the magic of the Island of Sodor brought to life by NTrack Express, and visit the West Coast Thomas Modelers Tomy exhibit showcasing their impressive Thomas-themed layout.

Whether you’re a lifelong fan of Thomas & Friends or introducing the beloved blue engine to a new generation, Thomas Family Day is the perfect opportunity to enjoy trains, creativity, and family fun together.

All activities are included with Museum admission.

Please Note: There is no full-size, rideable Thomas train at this event.
