This exhibition features highlights from Mingei’s bead collection and explores the materials from which beads are made. Ranging from plant and animal materials to fabricated metal and glass, these single beads and beaded objects were made by different cultures from around the world and were largely acquired by Mingei International Museum from The Bead Museum in Prescott, Arizona.
