Worst Case Scenario is a temporary exhibit scheduled at the Fleet Science Center in Summer 2023 which includes many interactive experiences for Science Center visitors.     The Old Globe seeks a full-time Annual Giving Coordinator for this renowned theatre in San Diego’s beautiful Balboa Park. Reporting to the Associate Director of Philanthropy, Annual Giving and Operations, the Annual Giving Coordinator will have responsibility for renewing, retaining, and acquiring donors under $3,000 through direct mail, telefunding, and email campaigns; analyzing campaign effectiveness; and prospecting for and researching major gift donors. The Annual Giving Coordinator will have the ability to recognize giving trends, prepare thorough and concise written reports, and maintain accurate database records, as well as communicate with donors in person, by telephone, email, and at events as needed. Working with the Globe’s events staff, the Annual Giving Coordinator will also help to create and implement stewardship and cultivation events for donors under $3,000. Preferred candidates will have at least one year of experience working with annual fund donors in a nonprofit organization. The person must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and CRM software (knowledge of a donor research system like iWave and Tessitura a plus). The selected candidate will have exceptional analytical and organizational skills, be an excellent communicator and self-starter, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
