Play Areas and Picnics
Visitors can create their own play and picnic areas throughout the Park with some toys and a blanket-or enjoy some of the playgrounds and designated picnic grounds. Located west of Park Blvd. and south of the Reuben H. Fleet Science Center, the Pepper Grove playground and picnic area features swings, tables, playground equipment, nearby restrooms and a tiny tots play area. Another popular children's play area is found at Thorn and Sixth Avenue on the west side of the Park.
