What is “Nama” Sake? It is a raw, unpasteurized extremely unique sake available during Springtime!
So the San Diego Sake Club is thrilled to announce the Spring “Nama” Sake Festival. Our event partner, the Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum, will host the event location. Join us as we guide you through the best sakes from Japan and the US! Limited sampling of the “Nama” Spring Sake is available!!
*You can enter to the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum from 11am*
11AM – You can enter to the Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum and enjoy the Japanese garden!
*General Admission to the Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum is included with your Sake Festival ticket.
*There will be two entrance points:
1. The Back Gate at the Upper Garden 2. The Front Gate at the Upper Garden
*The walk from the Gate to the Inamori Pavilion takes approximately 10–15 minutes. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, as the path involves walking downhill.
12PM – Sake Festival entrance opens
12:30pm – “Kagami Biraki” traditional sake barrel opening ceremony
Tickets include:
***General Admission to the Japanese Friendship Garden & Museum is included with ticket
***Food vendors will be available selling their tasty foods if you get a little hungry
***This event is for guests 21 and over and please leave your furry friends at home.
