Love loses its way—and finds itself again—in Shakespeare’s sparkling romantic comedy. At its center is Rosalind, one of Shakespeare’s greatest heroines: clever, courageous, and determined to shape her own story. Driven from the court, she escapes with her devoted cousin Celia to the magical Forest of Arden. Disguised as a boy, Rosalind encounters Orlando, the man she loves—only he has no idea who she really is, and this sets off a wonderfully tangled game of courtship and mistaken identity. Filled with wit and music, As You Like It celebrates the freedom to reinvent yourself and the often-ridiculous adventure of falling in love.
