San Diego Civic Youth Ballet presents the 16th Annual Fairy Tales in the Park at the Casa del Prado Theater in Balboa Park on August 17th & 18th. A whimsical, interactive dance experience for families and audiences of all ages, this year’s production will feature the stories Hansel and Gretel, Puss in Boots, Beauty and the Beast and The Sleeping Beauty, as well as an exciting first look at SDCYB’s 2025 spring ballet, The Firebird.

Directed by SDCYB Artistic Director Danika Pramik-Holdaway and narrated by a professional storyteller, Fairy Tales in the Park features interactive activities including an enchanted forest in the lobby, a chance to meet the dancers following the performance, and more. Audiences can expect to experience the joy of these classic stories as they are brought to life through the timeless art of ballet.

All tickets are priced at $15, with proceeds benefitting the SDCYB Scholarship Fund. Tickets can be purchased online at www.sdcyb.org, over the phone at 619-259-0220, or in person during normal business hours. ADA seating available by contacting our office directly.
