Sogetsu Ikebana is a creative art that can take many forms and expressions. Sogetsu Ikebana aims to be present, to be vibrant and to be flexible. Many beautiful flowers and plants are the products of Mother Nature but, Ikebana is the product of man’s creativity and imagination in the arrangement. Each class, you will bring your own flowers and branches. You can look around your garden, your neighbor’s garden, your friend’s garden or buy flowers from the store. If you have Kenzan (Flower frog), Ikebana scissors/garden scissor, and container, please bring them to the class. Those that have been coming to class for years will do their own theme lesson, all new students will start from basic style of Ikebana.

Fee: $30 JFGM Members, $35 Non-members (per class)
JFGM Member Bundle: $120 *Member bundle valid for any six Tuesdays
You are required to bring your own flowers and branches. Register to reserve a spot. Walk-ins can be accommodated if spots are available.
*Refunds or credits will not be given less than 7 days before the program.
