Take a fascinating journey into two remarkably different, but inextricably linked worlds—Mexico’s Sea of Cortés and the Baja California desert.

Ocean Oasis mesmerizes audiences as they witness the beauty of life in Baja California’s rich waters and seemingly barren land. Fly over sweeping vistas of snow-capped mountains, vast deserts, palm oases, and mangrove swamps—then plunge into astonishing underwater sequences of rarely seen marine life. Glide side-by-side with a graceful giant manta ray as it arches and swoops through water sparkling under the Baja California sun. Witness the pageant of migrating whales, the elaborate tango of courting terns, and the battles of lumbering elephant seals. Visually stunning and serene, Ocean Oasis illustrates that this little-known region is a treasure worth preserving.

Ocean Oasis was produced by the San Diego Natural History Museum, Summerhays Films, and PRONATURA A.C., with sponsorship from Sempra Energy. Winner of the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival and the International Wildscreen Film Festival.

The Subaru Giant Screen Experience is included with paid admission and free for members.
