San Diego Youth Symphony ChIMES program
ChIMES classes are for children from birth up to age 5, plus parents or caregivers. Class options include babies/toddlers (recommended for birth – 2 years), toddlers (approx 18 months – 3 years), toddlers/preschoolers (approx 2 – 5 years), preschool (approx 3 – 5 years), mixed ages (birth up to age 5), and English/Spanish bilingual options as well (appropriate for both native English speakers and native Spanish speakers, or those looking to expose their children to either language.)

*Special thanks to the Save Our Heritage Organisation (SOHO) for hosting ChIMES classes at the Marston House.All enrolled families will also have access to the digital songbook, supplemental materials, and curated playlists, which are a great way to continue the music at home in between classes!

Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum
Be Genki Wellness Camp
The Genki Outreach Program offers San Diego Unified School District students an opportunity to participate in a wellness program. The wellness program is a concept using the therapeutic benefits of a Japanese garden in promoting health and well-being. Programming will include basic Japanese philosophies and traditions that promote healing and gratitude. Each week will consist of 5-half day sessions. Students will practice mindfulness and will be introduced to the Japanese traditional teaching where one learns how to observe, listen, and practice. A traditional tea ceremony to demonstrate the importance of expressing gratitude will be hosted at the last session.PROGRAMS & ACTIVITIES

We have camps available from grades 1st-5th.Capacity is limited, so registration for each grade level is first come first serve. Don’t miss out on an exciting opportunity!

Fleet Science Center
Your kids will experience exciting new adventures every day when they join our seasonal STEM Camps. They will have a unique opportunity to explore and learn about the fascinating world of science in a fun and engaging way. With a variety of activities and programs, STEM Camps offer diverse and enriching experiences.
Designed with a focus on inquiry and play, STEM Camps encourage children to investigate some of the most fascinating and exciting concepts in science. Your kids will have the chance to learn about everything from air pressure and electrical currents to life cycles and chemical reactions during their school breaks.

Elementary students are welcome to join us for fun-filled days rotating through classes in drama, music, dance and a specialty subject (improv, stage combat, design, etc). Whether your child is used to the spotlight or new to the stage, Junior Theatre’s camps have something for everyone! Friends and family will be invited to an Open Sharing on the final day of camp to see a sampling of what students have learned.
*Camp days are from 9am-3pm. Students must be at least 5 years old and enrolled in a school program to participate. A detailed informational letter will be sent out the week prior to camps. Students should bring a water bottle, a sack lunch and two snacks.
For the safety of all students, we have a closed classroom policy. Adults are not permitted to sit in on JT classes until our invited Open Sharing on the final day of classes or camps.
