Grape Street Dog Park
Spanning five acres, Grape Street Dog Park is the largest of Balboa Park’s three dog parks. Its open fields are surrounded by groves of mature eucalyptus trees, and it includes two water fountains for dogs and a restroom for people. Off-leash hours are from 7:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 9:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m. on weekends.

Morley Field Dog Park
Morley Field Dog Park is open 24 hours. The entrance to the Dog Park is near the intersection of Alabama St. and Morley Field Dr., and there is ample free parking. The main off-leash area consists of an immense field, dotted with small trees and several litter-bag dispensing stations. This dog park also provides easy access to the Florida Canyon Nature Trails, which dogs can explore with you when they’re back on the leash.

Nate’s Point Off-Leash Dog Park
Open 24 hours, this off-leash park is one of the most popular dog parks in the San Diego region every day of the year. It is approximately 2.3 acres and completely fenced with amenities that include a drinking fountain and picnic tables. Named for former San Diego city employee Nate Wells, the space has been used as a dog park since 1996.
