Florida Canyon Native Plant Preserve gives visitors a glimpse of the original landscape of Balboa Park. The 150 acres of Coastal Sage Scrub provide critical habitat for native wildlife.
Many hiking trails are scattered in Florida Canyon, and Canyoneers from the San Diego Natural History Museum frequently conduct guided tours of the area.
